DISCOVERED ARTISTIC TALENTS (DARTS)

Discovered artistic talents (DARTS) is an NGO registered under the Non-Governmental Organisations Coordination Act of Kenya since 2010. DARTS has a mandate to carry out activities in Nairobi, Kiambu and Kajiado with prospects of replicating them to all the counties. DARTS is managed by a board of directors that include a multidisciplinary team of artists and professionals of diverse background across with a very high level of accountability mechanism.
DARTS is a non-profit organization with a mandate of exploring, nurturing and harnessing artistic talents among young people for poverty eradication and social economic development.


DARTS offers lifeline to the youth and local people through training, mentorship, artwork production and marketing. Through these activities, DARTS contribute to poverty reduction, wealth creation and mitigation of societal problems such as hopelessness, disease, crime, drugs and substance abuse.
DARTS undertakes training workshops and marketing activities to promote artistic activities and artists. It implements school-based mentorship programme to motivate, stimulate and mentor young people about Art as a career pathway. DARTS collaborates and partners with various organisations and government to promote talents and skills building for the youth and young people.
