DARTS offers lifeline to the youth and local people through training, mentorship, artwork production and marketing. Through these activities, DARTS contribute to poverty reduction, wealth creation and mitigation of societal problems such as hopelessness, disease, crime, drugs and substance abuse. The main goal of DARTS is to mobilize, empower and harness the potential and talents of the youth and young people through art as a change agent for sustainable economic development. To achieve the goal, DARTS implements the following activities:

i) training the youth on artistic based and life skills,

ii) facilitating sustained production of art-based products,

iii) marketing and selling of artistic products for economic empowerment and sustainability,

iv) establishing innovative community-based programmes to promote art and cultural development.
